What we collect,
and who sees it.

Last updated 25 September 2026

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our forms — your name, email, phone, and the details of the sign you want — so we can quote and build it.
  • If you buy, Stripe handles the payment. We never see your card number.
  • We use a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. You can switch it off on this page, and the button below actually works.
  • We don't sell your personal information for money.
  • Want your data deleted? Email designs@neonly.io and we'll do it.

1. What we collect

Things you give us

When you submit a design or quote request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about the sign — the text, size, colours, backing, any notes, and any logo or reference image you upload.

When you place an order, Stripe's checkout collects your name, email, phone number and shipping address so we know where to send the sign. Stripe also collects your payment details. We never receive or store your card number — it goes directly to Stripe.

Things collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site you came from. Our advertising pixel, Google Analytics and our hosting provider all see this.

2. Why we collect it

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We do use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your information passes through them:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

4. Advertising, and how to switch it off

We use the Meta Pixel to understand which adverts bring people to our site, and to show adverts to people who have visited. Under California law this counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands.

We also use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site.

You can turn both off here. This sets a preference in your browser, and neither the pixel nor Google Analytics will load on any page you visit afterwards.

Advertising tracking

Checking…

This preference is stored in this browser only, so you'll need to set it again on other devices or if you clear your site data. We also automatically honour Global Privacy Control if your browser sends it.

You can also opt out of Meta's own ad targeting in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, which applies everywhere rather than just on this site.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we're trading and for a reasonable period afterwards, because we need them for warranty questions, repeat orders, tax and accounting. Quote requests that never become orders are kept so we can follow up and so we remember what we quoted you.

If you'd like your information removed sooner, ask us — see section 10.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we won't treat you differently or refuse to serve you for exercising any of them.

To make a request, email designs@neonly.io. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we don't hand your information to someone else.

7. Security

Our site runs over HTTPS. Order records sit in a database that requires authentication to read, and payment details never touch our systems at all — Stripe handles those. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise, but we don't keep anything we don't need.

8. Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
